When I worked at a radio station in Ventura, CA about a decade ago - I was sports director and part-time newsman, and then almost by accident...a jock I was working with and I created a feature called..."What Barry Thinks". Big bombastic music lead-in with a Voice of God/Les Nessman WKRP type intro...then I'd come on with musings about this or that, slice of life stuff, kind of a very poor man's Andy Rooney".
Well, I've decided to to take the act, to the information superhighway. Sometimes it'll be sports, other times current events, with plenty of slices of life, mixed in. I just hope that some other folks get to read, and and be in some way entertained or provoked by what I have to say.
Finally! A blog worth following.
